In this workshop participants will explore a new alphabet inspired by the flora and fauna of the forest. Over the course of two days, students will acquire proficiency in embroidery techniques, including Colcha stitch, Towel stitch, Quaker stitch, Argentinian knot and square knot, and the Argentinian Picot, among others.
These are brand new stitches that Adriana will share for the first time during this tour through Europe, America and Asia.
Materials included are pre-stamped fabric with the alphabet design, threads, needles, and a booklet with all the stitches. This workshop is an invitation to creativity and the learning of unique techniques.
These classes were conceived as a two-day creative retreat and are intended to be complementary. No prior experience is necessary. All the materials are included, but you are invited to bring your favourite threads, needles, and scissors.
