Thank you for your interest in our workshops.

You must be 18 years of age or older to attend a workshop in our space.

Please be sure of your schedule before registering.

You are not officially registered in a workshop until payment has been received through our online store. You will receive an order confirmation email and then a reminder email approximately one week before your workshop with additional details about our space, location, and general housekeeping.

Occasionally, you will receive an email directly from an Instructor if there are special instructions or requirements for the workshop.

Workshop Cancellation Policy

We are a small, non-profit studio who pay our Instructors based on CARFAC suggested fees per workshop. Therefore, we are unable to transfer your payment to another workshop or provide any discounts.

In order for a workshop to run, we require a minimum number of students to ensure that Instructors are properly compensated for their time. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop 5 business days before the starting date if we do not get the minimum registration needed. 

In the event that we need to cancel a workshop you are registered in, you will receive a full refund of the fees paid.

Participants who withdraw from a workshop 5 or more business days before the start date will receive a refund minus a $35.00 (+HST) administration fee. 

In some cases, our workshops have waiting lists, which may allow for a last minute cancellation if you are sick or have an emergency. Please contact us at info@textilestudio.ca and we will do our best to fill your spot from the waiting list and offer a partial refund. If we are unable to fill the spot, you will not be refunded. 

Covid Protocols

Our studio maintains cleaning and sanitation procedures in accordance with public health recommendations. We will endeavour to provide adequate ventilation during workshops, while also maintaining the comfort of participants. 

Mask wearing is encouraged in our space. We leave it at the discretion of the Instructor and participants on a workshop basis whether masks are worn but please be prepared to wear one. If this is a barrier to you attending a workshop, you can contact us to confirm if the workshop you are interested in will require masks.

If you are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, we ask that you do not come to the studio. If this happens with less than five days notice from the workshop date, we are not able to offer a refund as we need to ensure we are properly compensating our Instructors.
